The Pirate Daughter’s Promise is the first book of Molly Evangeline’s Pirates & Faith series. I own the entire series. In addition, I purchased a beautiful boxed set, signed by Molly for my teenage daughter. I’m so glad I did. I sense Molly Evangeline will one day become well known for her Inspirational stories. I’m glad I met her. She’s a precious lady who truly loves the Lord.
The Story
Orphaned at a young age, Skylar McHenry grew up as little more than a servant and shunned by everyone around her because of her reputation as a pirate's daughter. Each day Skye faces is marked by some new struggle. Her only hope is to rely on her heavenly Father's care and comfort and the solace of her best friend, Will, who has become more than dear to her.

When life seems impossible, it’s time to trust in God. Skylar McHenry certainly reminded me of that fact, as I read her story. I love Molly Evangeline’s characters and stories. Molly doesn’t just tell you the story; she gifts it to you in great throbbing detail.
If you’re a fan of Inspirational pirate fiction, don’t pass this book up. In fact, purchase the entire series and steal away for a Pirate & Faith weekend.
