I think sometimes people rag on teenagers without cause. I
love teens. They’re not impolite and insolent, or discourteous. At least not
the teenagers I know. Indeed not! They are filled with the excitement of just
beginning their lives. If you have the good fortune of enjoying the company of a group of
teens, you’ll soon realize that they keep you feeling young. You begin to see the
world through their eyes, and that’s a good thing. I'm going to miss my
teenagers when they grow up.

I had a girl teen who was often suicidal and unhappy and a boy teen who was totally laid back. He's much the same now he's a teen+ and she's still with us, which is a blessing.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if they've kept me young but I've loved them. Glad you're enjoying yours.
I guess they're all different. And a blessing.
ReplyDeleteThese sure are!
ReplyDeleteLove my teens. Wonderful kids. And the teens at my church are all awesome people.
ReplyDeleteI always heard how hard it was to have teens. So, I was steeling myself as my two girls approached that age. I shouldn't have worried. They were awesome! I enjoyed every moment! They were both funny, kind, creative, and responsible! WOW! They are both adults now, and I do miss them; Mostly because they don't live at home anymore. They are still the same fun and interesting people; I just don't get to enjoy their company as often. Nice post. I smiled and laughed with joy as I read and remembered.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Sandi. My teens are great to be around too. I know I'll miss them so much when they're grown.
