If
you of an age that you think you’ve run out of second chance in romance, then
think twice. An Unexpected Romance is
a sweet story about second chances at love. Thoughts of love and remarriage hadn’t
occurred to the lead characters in this book. Elizabeth Parker, now widowed
after enjoying a long marriage to her late husband, passes her days in managing
her real estate business and apartment complexes. Life keeps her busy, but her thoughts
and prayers are often with her drug-addicted son, Seth. When Mark Crandall, an
old friend, returns to town to sell an inherited property, life tosses a curve
ball at her. She struggles with her feelings for Mark.
After
having lived the life of a widower for several years, thoughts of remarriage
hadn’t entered Mark’s mind. His instant attraction to Elizabeth deepens to true
